I Care a Lot About People

I care about people....my friends and family foremost. But its when i see people struggling through life situations is when i really start to care. i think...what can i do to help? financially im struggling so i cant do much there. talking to them...its difficult to approach others and offer to listen and give advice. i dont mind...but in this day and age...its hard to trust strangers. most people think those offering help have an alternative motive and sometimes they are right. until i found this site yesterday...i always wondered how i could help. now i can read peoples stories and post my thoughts and hopefully help...i really enjoy it. Anyways...i was just thinkin and wanted to share.

I agree. I also find that some people are so scared to honestly look at themselves they will push you away. I try not to be too helpful. I understand that change must come from within, so I try to just plant seeds so they can figure things out for themselves. My heart does ache to see these people suffer, when I know they are doing so needlessly in most cases.

I was so pleased to read your story. You have a marvellously compassionate heart. Don't become cynical. Opportunities to care are all around us in the circumstances of our lives. Keep looking, and you will see. Seek and you will find.

Yeah its true.. alot of people are selfish these days, so they think your just offering help to get sympathy, and to look like a good person.
