absolutely...i am a firm believer in karma and the balance of everything. meaning, there will always be good things and bad things...and even though it might not seem like it at the time...everything does balance out. its how you deal with the negative...and how you allow it to affect you. keep yourself on a good path, deal with the negative things that come at you in a positive way, and you should come out OK. easier said then done though :)

Your right. So the basic point there is rather then constantly complaining about the negative things in your life.. try and fix them. I think thats why we have negative things in our life. They're not meant to stand. But rather something we have to conquer, something we have to fix, and sometimes this depends on our happiness.

I constantly think of the wrong things in my life. The problem is i find myself just thinking about them and not really working to change them. As far as being selfish, everyone is selfish to a point. it comes down to when you find someone that needs your help...how do you help them...or do you help them at all? thats what i feel you base your "selfish meter" on. I like helping people. But it is easy to focus primarily on your own issues before others, and i think thats OK. You have to be the first one to try to help yourself. If you dont try...how can you expect anyone else to?
