Datura - Dr Dyer is one of my favorite guys. His outlook on life is so good. I have seen many of his CD presentations. Maisiedobbs - I can understand how you feel, but realize that the opinions of others are like ********. Everyone has one - but some just smell so much worse than others. I choose to not smell any of them. It took alittle while but I finally got to the point where others critcism and/or opinions rolled off me like water off a duck. Indeed I listen and if I think I have offended someone or hurt someone I will apologize, but if the apology is not accepted I say to them (in my mind) "Just go to hell and leave me alone." Thanks for the comments.

Wayne Dyer, who I enjoy reading, stresses that we won't be happy until we learn to " live independent of the good opinion of others". This is such a valuable lesson, and the way he phrases it helps it stick in my mind.

Hey guys - thanks for the kudos. God put us here to be happy, period. I like the Dylan Thomas poem that starts: Old age should burn and rage at start of day; rage rage at the dying of the light. I will rage until I am six feet under. My brother passed away last year. Before he left, he told me, "I will live every damned day until I die." I try to do that, live every day, really live and be happy. I think its a good way to make our journey through life pleasureable.
