I've never really liked gum. I'm not sure why, but I guess I just never had it around the house, so I never knew what I was missing. Even now, when I do have gum, I hardly ever chew any. The only reason I'm chewing gum more right now is because it's a quick sugar fix for me when I want to eat a bunch of junk food or sugar. I just grab a piece of gum and chew it for a while and then I feel better. The only gum I have is Dubble Bubble, which is really good and sugary and great for blowing bubbles, but it's over a year old, so it's really hard and gets gross in about 10 minutes of chewing it. Still, I don't really care. Gum is gum, no matter how hard or old it is. I actually don't want to get in the habit of chewing gum, so I'm trying to stop. I don't care much for gum and it really is just sugar, which I don't need. The other thing is that gum messes up my jaw and makes it all inflamed, so I don't want that to happen again. I can already tell it's messed up my jaw a little bit, so that's all the more reason to stop. I'm almost out of all the gum, so I won't be chewing it for much longer anyway.
