Lurking In The Shadows But No More

Before coming into the light, I was lurking in the shadows. No one knew about the real me and how I truely felt and dressed. Now that I have come into the light and people close to me know now, things have gotten a whole lot brighter. I no longer have to be guarded and try to keep my dressing a secret from them anymore. As time went by, the pressure to tell them was becoming too great and with Melodie13's advice, I decided to come out to my aunt, best friend, his wife, and 2 coworkers of mine. All of them do support me and life is so much better now. What I advise others to do is to be true to oneself and stop lurking in the shodows. This isn't the olden days of intolarance, more acceptance is coming forth. As time goes by, acceptance will grow and we will be living in a more free and open society. For all of you who are still lurking, give it a go and see how much brighter your world will be once you come into the light and stay there.
