Getting Your Emotions Out

It is really therapeutic to write music.  Sometimes I have a million thoughts in my head, and to play out a tune can really encapsulate those feelings and make something creative out of them.

I write music for the guitar and the viola.  I use the guitar to create a basic melody with chords, and the viola creates a deeper tune over the guitar.  I am influenced by flamenco and classical music -- my feeling is that no one could write music like the old masters.

I record the stuff I write onto my computer.  I am too lazy to write it out on sheet music or anything that grand.  Mostly, I write for myself.
