Another Event I Just "Take Advantage Of"....

Ah yes, the Superbowl, all my guy friends go on yapping streaks about who's going to win, and for some reason, are utterly concerned that me, as a red blooded male, don't give a ****.

To me, the Superbowl only really means 2 things to me, first is dealing with crowds of angry ***** wives in the morning going into the stores to buy beer, chips, salsa, steaks, and other of all our favorite "Man Foods" to keep the hubby happy during the Superbowl, when I often legitamatley need something, or am hungry for breakfast and actually feel like cooking for once.

The upside is, if I get invited, I never say no, bcause it means free food, some room to talk with the other people who actually give a hoot that others might know they don't care about the Superbowl.  Sometimes the band is nice to watch, but that's about all there is for me on the Superbowl.

I don't care about the game, but I welcome an opportunity to socialize with a small or large group of people. Besides, the party usually ends when the game ends, so it's a party where I can be the first to leave without offending anyone. Talk about a win-win.
