Wouldn't Want to

i got my dog, sally, when i was 14, and she has been the pride and joy of my life ever since. i'd wanted a dog all my life, but before we moved out to the country there was really no room for a pet to grow and thrive the way it should. as much time as i spent longing for a puppy, actually having one is so much better than i ever could've imagined. all the fun we've had together, all the hugs and kisses and pure love, that's what it's all about. i'm grateful every day that i have such a special little girl in my life. i honestly don't know how i got by those first 14 years without her!

I shared a 'story' and have seven dogs...one is really my son's and one is really my daughter's ...dogs kind of chose which kid they love the most...and become very protective of them. It's a special kind of relationship that really is like no other.

me either! when i'm away at school, there's something so wrong about sitting down and not having my baby crawl into my lap. when i go home she tackles me and covers me with kisses. she may be tiny, but she's strong! :)

Same here. I have four dogs that are my entire life. I got my first one 12 years ago and she is my best friend. I don't think I could handle life without dogs.

Sounds like a sweety!
