Pavlov was a scientist. His famous study dealt with dogs. He observed that dogs salivated when they were about to eat. He wanted to find out if dogs could be conditioned to salivate. To test this he would ring a bell before feeding the dogs. Eventually the dogs associated the ringing bell with food. They would salivate whenever the bell rang.

The behavior can be observed in pets today, the cat who comes running when it heard the can opener, the dog that hears a package being opened thinking that it is about to get a treat.

The phrase Pavolivan Response has come to mean a physical or psychological response to an external stimulus.

cheese pavlovian? I googled it and came up with some interesting stuff.

Pretty much I cry whenever I listen to the words of the song. I can be happy, sad or nothing. If I hear it and don't concentrate on the words then I'm ok.

It is funny in a way. Almost like a Pavlovian thing.
