I haven't done it in about a year but the feelings of doing it are coming back. I don't do it because "it's pain I can control." It's the only thing that gives me release. It makes stress go away, you think clearly afterwards, it makes depression take a seat. I don't think it's the best thing to do but when there's nothing to really turn to or anyone to talk to, it just provides release from it all.
