Maybe if I were from a later generation, I'd understand why this is even something to be mentioned. But news flash: most people aren't white (as I am). Pretty much everyone by this point has a grandma or dad or cousin or somebody who is a race other than the original ..familia....

Where can you even live where you aren't mixing races unless you're in some type of 'hood'? There are only like psh, 8 races right off the top of my head that I see on a daily basis. To limit myself on potential lovers because he may be a shade or two darker than me is pretty sad.
