Why I Hate Vista So Much

I 'm here writing this because microsoft dont offer therapy for people who have to use their disgraceful operating system. I paid for vista for 'business' and work for myself. I estimate I spend between 1 and 3 hours a day dealing with the full range of pains in the neck from Vista's annoying quirks to complete meltdowns.

For example, recently half (well some) of my folder views suddenly changed to showing ONLY the file name. I work in IT so I routinely need to know the file type, size date etc etc. This is after I spent hours previously trying in vain to set the folders to all be normal folders - no Vista my work documents are not PHOTOS and I dont want to rate them.

Most infuriatingly, despite my internet connection being up, stable and reliable, various applications are regularly cut off temporarily for between a few seonds (just long enough to drop any active connections) or for a few minutes (long enough to make me seriously consider throwing the machine out the window). I have to constantly check, disable/re-enable the wifi connection, restart windows etc etc.

Yes I realise that this is probably as much about my ability to deal with frustrating inannimate objects but I have to point out (as I guess is traditional) that I use mac at home and have almost no problems at all.

I dont feel that much better, maybe I'll throw it out the window and go buy a mac after all. Oh the reason I've not already done that is I need to use a lot of variously aged software some of which is not available on mac.

In summary - shame on you microsoft this product is a complete disgrace. I cant believe that customers like myself now have to pay for another crack at the pot luck which is your new release. It could not possibly be worse.
