Success But Not Completely...

I have had many experiences with auditions and the majority have turned out terrible because although I am a confident person, I have a habit of seizing up a little because I'm paranoid I won't get to show my best potential, but I always end up doing the complete opposite to what I wanted by screwing up somehow and knowing I could have done so much better.

My most recent audition I thought was a complete success. Although it turned out I didn't get the part I auditioned for (in fact I didn't get an acting role at all), I did the best audition I had and I was proud of that, but I now know next time, I will be better. My biggest flaw is I can't do accents, but I am determined to learn. I want to be a star so bad; I have dreamt it all my life and I am not going to let one little thing get in my way; I know I can do this!

Auditions are a form of torture, so very cruel. I have found that my best auditions have been when I truly Di not care what the committee thinks and take a "screw you" attitude, simply trying to Do a solid performance for my sake. When you chat with committee members, it is rare that you get two of then to say the same thing unless it was painfully obvious. The way I see it is if you are going to win 1 out of every 10 auditions, you don't stop after the ninth one you don't get!

hi there pretty lass! i like your spirit! that's good! continue believing in yourself.. if you didnt get it now, then maybe its not for you yet, maybe there is still more you need to learn... we have to fail sometimes to get to know more ourselves... the road to stardom is never easy, but despite all the challenges and 'heartaches', always remember to have fun, sometimes its not the thing that we want to achieve most that can fulfill us, but the process, the people that helped us, cheered for us, inspired us... just want to tell you though, not to ignore the things that come our way... be happy, humble and nice to everyone you meet and you'll make it as a star someday! I agree, never give up, every person is unique in his/her own way, try and discover that very special and unique quality about you , try and bring that one particular quality to surface more in your acting skills, people will surely notice when they see something different,or unique, do not imitate or follow any person , be your natural self .

as i told you earlier , when in audition don't perform just to get the part, perform the part to the best of your understanding.

******* A! Do it up. It's not how many times you get knocked down, it's how many times you get up.
