I Didn't Want It Anyway...i Think.

I sold myself at the interview. I had the qualifications and the experience, but I didn't get the job. It happens.

I don't even know if I would have liked it any better than what I do now. Its the same kind of work (stressful), just at a different level (management).

So, I'm saying to myself, "Self, you didn't even want that job." Except that I guess I did or I wouldn't be moping now. What is my deal?

Aesop's fable... the wolf and the grapes.
I am in the same shoes as you.
Don't deny your desire. It is what defines you. If you wanted the job, you wanted it. Instead of cursing the fruit, give it respect and you will respect the work it takes to get it... and it will be more satisfying. In other words, prove to yourself (not someone else) that you are qualified and try again.
I will be doing the same.

Well "what's for you is for you" It wasn't meant to be. I guess better things are in store for you. Cheer up. Hugs, Candy.
