Intolerable

I grew up in a house of clutter.  My mother wasn't big on housekeeping nor did she pester me to clean up my room all the time (lucky wasn't I?)  Anyway, the living room was always in disarray with piles of newspapers.  To this day I don't buy newspapers that much and when I do I don't let the pile (for recycling) get too big.  I try to keep my home tidy so when I have guests over I don't have to clean up too much.
