They Are Such Definition Nazi's

I am getting so sick of the mantra that "Fundamentalists follow the Fundamentals of the Bible".  This is stated anytime someone states something unflattering about them.  But everyone knows the definition of Fundamentalism is subjective.  But its not the "evil seculars" who gave the fundamentalists a bad name.  Its the people who identified themselves as such.  The only reason its a dirty word is because they made it a dirty word by taking the label and acting like arrogant dirtbags.  The whole "Fundamentals of the bible" is a very subjective claim.  Not everyone sees the same fundamentals.  In reality, they are stating that they are following fundamentals of the bible, that by default makes it righteous.  However if their authoritarian iron fisted interpretation of the bible were the only possible interpretation, that would not make these morals by default anymore righteous.  I think they just use that excuse to avoid any objections to Fundamentalism.
