    I think, in some areas, we do. I judge mass murderers, pedophiles and other extreme people: but a part of me says that, ultimately, it is only God who can really do this. On a philosophical walk, only yesterday, for instance, I was pondering all the truly appalling people who must have lived, who never committed any atrocities, but would have done, given the opportunity.



    There are, however, hypocrites who judge others, while being incapable of seeing their own faults. There are many on EP who try not to be like that, even though they may sometimes are. The title of this group recognizes that lapses will sometimes occur. It does not say "I never judge", but rather that it is not my place to do so.

      We have to judge so that we can be safe from harm. Being too open minded, can be stupid.
