Tried. Failed. Twice.

First time I tried to pierce my ears, I was too young, too immature to take good care of them.  They got infected and I had to let them close.

Second time I tried to pierce my ears, I was (unknown to me) going into a severe illness that messed with my immune system.  So I had to let them close again.

Third time may be the charm, but I'm not pushing my luck!  My ears can STAY un-pierced for the foreseeable future.
