The word "Baby" is probably one of my biggest pet peeves. I mean, it's fine if you are actually referring to a baby (although I prefer child or infant), but the I seriously cringe at the word used in any other context. Babe is fine, and I think a lot sexier than the other word (I seriously can't say it).

    Hmmm......I call my girl baby and she absolutely loves it and tells me so. We are all different I suppose which is what makes life interesting. Do you find the term demeaning in some way? She calls me baby also at times and I like it too.
