Anyone Can Be A Quitter

When I reached the age of 19, I learned how to smoke. This was so I could fit in at university. For the next 10 years I smoked 2 packs
a day. One morning I woke up with a horrendous cough. My doctor said I must quit smoking or go on meds, for smoking induced
bronchitis. Wha t awake up call. I quit that day and still marvel at how I was able to. Back then there was nothing to help you. Not even nicotine gum. I'm now 32 yrears smoke free. If I can quit, anyone can.

Congrats on 32 years smoke free!!
I started smoking when I was 13. I've been smoking on and off for the past 9 years.
I just recently quit. No gum or patches. It is still a daily struggle. Every time I get stressed out I feel like I need one. I have only relapsed twice. But still going strong. Reading stories like this give me hope. :)
