I Never Wanted to Go Into the ...

I never wanted to go into the army. My father is a Vietnam Vet. Around the time that I was eligible was the time that the current war broke out. I never enjoyed war or thought the idea of taking someone's life in the name of my country was something I wanted to do. Not that I don't have national pride, I just don't think the front lines or any kind of military lifestyle is for me.

New Flash for you tizzanny: in the Global War on Terror there are NO "front lines" - unless you consider downtown Manhatten Ground Zero to be "the front" that is.
You don't want to be in the Army? Don't worry about it - we're an all volunteer force and if you don't want to be part of what we've got going then we certainly don't want you to be here . . . think of the military the next time you take a breath of fresh air - freedom isn't free -
