I dont want to go to the army. I want to do something for my country, but I don't think that I could kill someone, even in the line of duty.

I'm not sure if that is supposed to be a direct cut or not. But if you think that I don't care about my country, try reading my story in the group "I am American". I fully stand by my country. I just do not think that I myself could take the life of another human being. I am very thankful to the men and women who stand up to keep our nation free.

You don't want to go into the Army. Good, then don't - what we've got isn't for everybody. It's an all-volunteer force, there is no draft - thank God - and we have no want/need/desire for people who don't want to be here. <br />
