Assaulted In My Wheelchair And People Don't CareI was assaulted for asking a kid to pick up rubbish in a small quaint town in England and ended up on the floor covered in blood with over 40 people watching and a few people filming me on their cell phones/mobile phones, only one person actually helped me!
What is wrong with this world? When I've travelled to different parts of the world people have different standards and no way could I ever imagine that happening to me over rubbish being thrown on the floor when there is a litter bin two metres away outside the shop itself I was visiting. The favourite words the youth culture today in England say is "I don't care" and I have witnessed first hand that it is not just words any more people don't care!!! I even went to one local church and spoke to a very respected vicar and asked him if they still believe in the principals of the Good Samaritan and he said "of course" and I told him while I was in my wheelchair about my assault and other major problems which have made my depression very bad indeed and he just gave me his card and told me to give him a ring but I left feeling he just wanted to get rid of me and I went home crying feeling completely lost and even more incapable of functioning in the real world. I'm still a complete mess and with the chronic pain I live with every day my life just is not worth living. The problem is what has happened to me can happen to anyone who cares so to all you nice people be prepared of a life of heart ache in todays world. I've never ignored someone who needs help and if anyone thinks they are a good person they can't be if they could ignore the suffering of others.
