Yesterday (August 16), One of my guy friends asked me if I wanted to hang out. We had been friends for a long time and I felt like I really knew him and he respected me not wanting to be in a relationship. So I said yes. He asked me what I wanted to do . I was originally going to go hiking with my dog, so I asked him if he wanted to come. He said sure he would drive.
So when we got to the entrance of the trail, he seemed to be acting a little weird. Kind of on edge is how I can describe him now. We started the walk around six in the afternoon, because I like the light shade on the trees. Its really pretty.
We started walking and we just talked about things we usually talk about -Life, Band, girls, boys, parents, friends- I didn't see anything to worry about.
Once we got to the creek it was about 7:30, getting a little darker but not much. I threw a stick in the water for my dog a few times because she absolutely loves swimming. While she swam we sat on a big rock and just talked some more.
I had to admit, through the past few months I had grown a crush on him, but I wasn't prepared to act first on it.
After a while I said it is getting late, and we should head back.
By this time it was about 8:15 and pretty dark besides the almost set sun that you couldn't see through the trees.
Our walk back was in almost utter silence until he stopped. I asked him why and he said. I just need to take a moment to ask you a question.
I responded okay shoot.
He said, do you like me more than a friend?
Being my sarcastic self, and trying not to make it so awkward I said, A best friend.
He said that isn't what I mean't.
I figured the joking was over and I needed to really think of my response. I said, I have grown some feelings for you.
He stepped closer to me. I hadn't realized My back was flat with a tree. He put his hand on my cheek and kissed me... It was a soft kiss, nothing to worry about, but then it became more and more. And I started to get frightened.
I told him to stop, but he wouldn't so I started to squirm and struggle.
All of a studden, I came into focus of what I heard as growling and barking, and soon he was on the ground holding his leg. MY DOG BIT HIM!! As soon as he let me go I ran home...
I haven't told my parents... I don't want to but All I was thinking is I really dodged a bullet taking my dog with me.
I am not really afraid to talk about it either nor do I feel afraid of him. Should I?
