Wow, Ozroller. It sounds like you've really been through the grinder. I'm glad you finally had the sinus op, but what a lot to go through to get there.

No surprise to me. I've had docs get things wrong and have had to endure the consequences for years too.

I hope you're employed now. Or, if not, that you will be soon :-)

I was diagnosed with high BP when I was 21 and denied a job because of it. I was most upset. The next job medical same thing happened and they told me to lie down. I slept for 45 minutes , they woke me, took the reading and said it was ok I got the job. Public service it figures. I gave 67 donations and was having heart problems and high BP. They refused to take any more and were not happy with the Dr's report that said everything was OK. I changed Dr's it was some years before my heart was OK the BP was high due to too many sinus tabs. I needed a sinus op and after that BP was fine.

Cool. I'm glad that you were determined enough to find a way around the problem. I've been intending to see my GP soon, so I'll get him to check whether I need to pursue that sort of treatment.

awwww.....no worries...I was on blood pressure medication before I was 30 & I am in excellent shape. I also adore the fact that you donate blood. I got turned down once because I wasn't taking my bp medicine and it was too high for me to donate. I thought it was crazy because I was so young but I have to take it for a reason. Since then I have been able to donate without a problem....& I feel like such a good citizen because I have a rare blood type... =)

just keep trying....that is all you can do
