God, True?? Myth?? Or Big Fat Lie??

Please can someone tell me why so many people believe in god? There is not one piece of evidence to prove that he was alive or the son of god where are his bones? Did they have birth certif back then if so where is it? Someone show me something that proves he was real

If there is a god why does he/she/it, let all this crap happen to us, like let’s take the Victorian bush fires for an example, over 200 people have died and so many more have lost there home and everything they own now of there was a god why would this happen why doesn’t this all powerful thing in the heavens help us and let it happen or how about the drought that Australia is going through, I’m sure I could go on for days about all the bad things that happen in the world and why does someone or something that is meant to love us all let it happen and another thing it is said that god loves us all and gives us free will and that we are all created in gods image then how is that there is a hell and that by just being a homosexual means your going to hell so come on people use your brain.

I sometimes wonder, if there is a god I think one it might be a make who never gets laid and that is why woman have to have the children and get there periods once a month or a very ugly lesbian who only hangs around with guys but that's just me, tell me what you think?

So the all powerful, all knowing, omnipresent god has no say as to what occurs in the universe?<br />
A rather ****** example of a god dont you think?

Yeh I agree with your sentiments. I think people take solace from thinking that there is a great leveller up there some where. So when someone does something bad and the criminal justice system doesn't get them then god will. It would be nice to think the bad guys would get theirs in the end but I think we need to concentrate on getting them in this life.

In my opinion they find it easier to live thinking that there is some grand scheme to things. I'm not one of those people but I've noticed that they take great solace in believing that everything happens for a reason and that it makes life seem less trivial than it really is. I'm not ragging on them, because frankly it does not matter to me one bit what a person believes as long as they don't try to push it on me.

I don't know what I believe so I'm not speaking for myself here, but. Maybe people just need something to believe in, or blame. I guess it's easier to believe that there's some explanation or some light in the end of the tunnel for what's after this? But who knows, that's just my theory.
