It'S Okay

I have never been part of the popular crowd. I was in fights everyday in elementary school. I was always being bullied. In high school I only had a couple of friends that were also part of the outcast group. I was too geeky for any of the smart groups; debate team, math club, chess club, etc. I was too nerdy for the preppy crowd, too homely for in-crowd; choir, cheerleaders, sports, swim, etc. Even though I fit into all the groups for one reason or another, I was not accepted. As an adult, things aren't much better. I'm not accepted because I am different, and I accept that.

It's okay that I am different. I am unique. If everyone was the same, the world would be a boring place. The fact that we are all different, is what makes the world go round.
