Funny. It sounds like you each have your own style. Me too. It's best that way. I've been learning to look in the mirror and finding clothes that are attractive on my figure type. The new hip hugging, drooping look is hideous on me and leave my backside exposed to the weather. I don't care for it at all. I have a butt that is at least two sizes bigger than my waist and instead trying to hide it all the time, I have found that wearing soft pants that cover my belly and short shirts and blouses emphasize what it turns out is one of my best features. It has been my joy to discover that I am an attractive woman and embracing my own style increases that attractiveness. I'm extremely practical and not only have I bought many clothes second hand, I have picked up and worn clothes left behind by others. I would still do that--but now I decide whether or not it suits me. Just because I can afford new clothes now doesn't make them suit me better.

Amen...clothes are clothes...unless you can afford better ones.
