I Don't Follow Or Worship Celebrities

Oh, there are many people I admire and respect... actors, writers, musicians, artists... and yes I like to keep tabs on their latest project, and see how their career is developing.   But admiration and respect is as far as it goes. 

I don't care what their house looks like, what car they are driving, which clothing designer they have chosen to wear, who does their hair.  I don't care who they are dating, who they are married to, if they are still together or getting divorced, or whatever.  

I won't be rushing out to buy their latest fragrance, or whatever it is they have decided to sign up to sell to us non-celebrities. 

Sorry, no.  I don't do that stuff.

    Thanks Adosia. There's nothing wrong with admiring people, or learning from them. The rest of it is just unneccessary.

    I know how you feel. I have a certain degree of respect for a couple actors and singers who I feel are sincerely talented. I'd enjoy meeting them, but wouldn't go out of my way to or treat them any differently than I would another stranger that I'm meeting. Just because I like their work doesn't mean I should know them and every detail of their lives.
