Not Because....

......we are different, but because we are so much alike. Its awfully frustrating. I see so much (overwhelmingly too much) of her in me (the good and the bad) and everyone else sees it too. We get along, but not as much as I would like. When I visit her I almost never stay for more than a day or two.

Thanks for the comment. Maybe I should have elaborated in the post. I lover her to death. I believe most Mothers and daughters go through something of the sort during the life cycle. I wouldn't change the experiences I've had because I've learned from them all. The problem isn't love, the issue is wanting others to realize that I'm my own person regardless of how similar we are. Sometimes she, as well as I, don't take that into consideration. Its just about growing up and becoming my own person seperate form my mother. Majority of children go through this on some level.

Thank God we're not made out of the same mold.... Love each other, no matter the differences, have patience and tolerance, let her know you love her. trust me someday you'll be glad you did.
