I Am Spoiled

I don't get offended if they hold the door open for me but if they DON'T then I might get angry if we are together. I know that my husband, brother, and father will always open the door for me and I have come to expect this from all the men in my life. They have spoiled me.

I like the gesture of it. If I don't want you to hold the door for me then I will walk in front of you but I think it is the polite thing to do.

I get strange looks when I hold the door open for women here in California but I still feel it's the proper thing to do. It's unfortunate that basic manners have become an oddity these days.

That's neat, though some macho-type might take offense lol

I hold the door for men if they have their hands full or if it is raining and such.

Spoiled? LOL, I don't know about that, but again I'm European and like to stand by my nickname.<br />
I hold the door for anyone if I'm not in a hurry. I've had surprised looks when I do that in the US but it's nice for me not to forget how I've been raised.
