Lodgistics, Work and Apathy

I used to get out a lot more. But the atmosphere in most places isn't my cup of tea. The repetitive remixed of songs I didn't like that much in the first place, so that inebriated people can dance badly? No.

The quiet pubs filled with grungy locals, who resent you being there, where there's nearly nothing to do? No.

The trendy places, which are popular for that 'all girls lunch' or 'corporate after work get together' where no matter what I wear I feel too casual? No.

The teeny bopper music infested places which aim their market at young women, and pervy older men? Gosh no.

And then there's the alterna-scene with dirty hippies everywhere, and good music, or bad house music and interesting people. So you can't really win.

It's hard to get time or energy to make it out.

And even then, its always: Can I really afford this?
