21 Without License

I'll be 22 in august. Anyway. I remember as a kid I never liked the idea of driving. Not to mention my mom crashed the car a bunch of times and my dads awful drunk driving. I honestly don't know if its because of those incidents I still don't drive. I have achieved my learners permit although it expires May 27th. I drove last summer alot, then I lost interest. I'm a great driver, I don't mind it. What's holding me back? I haven't bothered to try the drivers test yet. I really want to before my permit expires.

I take the bus to work just fine, sometimes I car pool. Good public transportation. I don't own a car and probably wouldn't for a long time. Gas is expensive. The **** that comes with a car is just so expensive, its a money barrel. I feel kind of ashamed of not having one due to some friends and their awesome adventures, the independence. or holding me back from getting the Welding career that I've wanted. At the same time, I am perfectly content without driving.

I have one aunt who would help me with a car for the drive test. Even if I got my license I still wouldn't be driving. I don't really know what to do or feel in this kind of a situation. And considering relationships, usually guys pick the girls up for dates all that generic bull crap. Hell that's embarrassing if they didn't like that I don't drive.
