Do 3 Dots Count?

I think tattoos can be beautiful art or hideous disfigurement. I never really wanted one for myself. Then I had surgery and needed radiation therapy. They had to tattoo 3 little black dots to use as markers for the radiation beam....only one can be seen...on the right outer border of my navel. I don't think of it as a tattoo but rather a marker of time and an opportunity to be grateful for life.......not all tattoos are a choice.
