And I Like It..

My husband and a girl I met about 8 years ago online (I originally met my husband online) are the only two friends that I have.

There are a few others online, who I trust, but not as much as those two.

I like it.  I'm a firm believer of quality not quantity.

I'm not saying this because I've been unable to make friends.  I used to have a lot, mainly through my school years.

These days, I consider those people acquaintances.  None of them really knew the meaning of the word...friend.  A lot of backstabbing and using each other went on amongst that circle of people.

I'm much happier with the few friends I have now.

Never had online friends. This is the most candid I have ever been with anyone at all. I will say this though.... Having co-workers is like high-school. Always remember just because you are not close to them personally, does not mean you should burn your bridges. Play nice and have connections. You get a lot more bees with honey than you do vinegar, and being nice is free

Most friendships I've had online have been extremely transient. What's your secret?<br />

It's probably me. I think my rl relationships are mostly the same.
