Insults Vs. Compliments

I take insults way better it seems. When someone insults me I can fire back and leave them stunned with some of the **** that flies out of my mouth. I dont get complimented as much tho so when it happens I feel very uneasy and immediately think "what does this person want from me." I forget to say thank you or give back any response of any kind. I completely shut down. So then, people think I'm an a**hole. Maybe its better if people think that I am so they all leave me be.
