Help Me Brainstorm

I don't know what I want to do with my life.

Currently I am faced with a myriad of conflicting desires. I want to help people. I want to be a benefit to people, but I also want to make a ton of money. I have a very wide variety of interests, but no real passion for anything. There are a few things that I really like such as learning languages and I succeed at basically everything I do. I succeed at the things I half-***...

I'm about to graduate from college in about a year and I'm still not quite so sure about what I want. I know that this is only one of the many beginnings of things that I will do in my life and yet I still long for closure in at least thinking I know what I want to do. But I don't. I'm conflicted between thoughts of doing what I really enjoy and doing what I'm good at. My issue is that I enjoy so many things and there is no passion that trumps another. Likewise, I am good at many things. I am a person that likes some spontaneity, a challenge, and traveling in addition to these things.

Can anyone help me brainstorm and throw out some interesting ideas?

You love to learn new languages, travel and are up for adventure and spontaneity? It sounds like maybe in exploring what you want a bit more you could look into teaching in other countries. There are these amazing programs where you are immersed in a culture and another language and teach english to the people there and I have a few friends who really found themselves while doing this, not to mention had an amazing time. My friend "Jack" traveled to an initial school in Prague where he met new people, other teachers from around the world, and they all learned a basic teaching program or certification there that later have them the opportunity to pick their next destination. He decided it would be fun to teach in and travel to China. So he did, and he has never come back to the states. He found that he loved it so much and had so many opportunities there (and money) that it was where he wanted to be. My friend "Keri", on the other hand, traveled to Spain and taught for a few years. She had an amazing time and through it was able to figure out more what she wanted, then came back to the states and is finishing up her masters. I just think for someone like you this could have potential. My friends are both artists and musicians, with a wide variety of interests and skills and this really helpe them and changed their lives. Just worth a look. Good luck to you.

The best way of deciding what you want to do is to take money out of the equation completely. What would you do if money was no object? What do you do on a daily basis that gives you a sense of enjoyment and fulfilment? It also seems like you aren't the kind of person who likes sticking to the same job. Maybe find a job where you have to travel a lot?
