@dreamingmylifeaway: about 4 of my friends were thinking about committing a suicide... i know that 'bad' side of life. fortunately, nothing bad happened. it happens that sometimes i cry everyday, and then i don't cry for a loooooong period of time. i mean... one thing causes 95% of my tears. i'm sure about that. but... i'm not sure what exaclty... it's complicated :)

@noahbody123: it doesn't make you less of a man ;// women love it when men show their emotions.... especially if it's about them hehe xD i'm not saying that crying every 5 minutes is something good... we should think positive, you know :) but let your tears be seen only by trusted people, who'll whipe them away ;) i mean... i'd like to have a 'manly man' but at the same time i'd be honoured to be the person who sees his tears and the REAL him. seeing someone cry is the best way to get to know & get close with each other... only true friends can see our tears.

Unbekannte, crying for no reason is just a part of being an adolescent. It is all those raging hormones. Hopefully, if there is nothing else going on in your life that is causing depression, you will outgrow this uncontrollable crying problem in a few tears, only to go threw it again in about thirty five or forty years. But, in between, you will have a lot of good living to enjoy. So, go with the tears, when they happen, and be assured, that the good times are coming.

Real men aren't afraid to cry. They have nothing to prove. Crying is a natural reaction to some things. I think it is a pity that boys are taught from an early age that boys don't cry. All that does is teach them to bottle up grief and I think if you have to bottle up grief, it will turn to rage. I understand, that your tears are coming from a totally different source, Noah, but the normal tears that one cries from grief or frustration or fear, are not something any real man needs to be afraid to shed. I am sorry you have such a difficult time with depression. I have had a hard time with it too, but I realize now, that mine was mild compared to yours. Yes, I have tried suicide. I have felt the despair you mention so often, but I have never felt the need to cut or burn myself to stop the pain. I think your despair must be so much deeper than any I ever suffered. I wish there was something that could be done to alleviate your suffering.

I spend a lot of time crying for no apparent reason Whenever I go depressed it seems like all I do is cry. And no, it doesn't bring any surcease or clarity. I just muddies the waters.

But I can see what you're saying. If I'm normal then a good cry washes things clean and enables me to go on. It gets out all the impurities and makes things fresh and new again.

Thing is... men aren't supposed to cry. So does that make me less of a man?
