I Still Can't Stand Bullies

i was raised from the age of 6 thru 14 by my grandmother. i am the oldest of 6 children and always had used clothes from the neighbors and from the good will. i even had hand made school uniforms for junior high and they looked home made. i very seldom had recess because i was always beating up any kid that made fun of me. in the third grade, there was a family that moved to town from the south. they had a very heavy southern accent and looked very country. they definitely did not fit in with us upscale city folks. the other kids stopped making fun of me and started picking on them worse than they ever did me. i was their only friend and continued to kick *** of anyone who picked on them.

i have a physically disabled step-son and wouldn't beat up kids that will make fun of him, i will attempt to knock some sense into the parents of those children because those parents should be teaching their children tolerance and acceptance of less fortunate or disabled people. i have dealt with bullies all my life and it is not acceptable anymore. my partner and i were part of the activists that help create and make the new bullying laws in our state.
