"don't Ask, Don't Tell"

It really grinds my gears when people use that phrase in a derogatory manner. The policy itself has been repealed for months now, yet still I hear the phrase uttered in this context. Sometimes the original comment will be mere innuendo even implying homosexuality and someone will jokingly say "hey, Don't Ask, Don't Tell"; when I hear it I make it a point to point out that the policy no longer applies. I know it's mostly just wishful thinking but I really hope people will grow up and drop this bad habit.
