Lol just chill the **** out dude. If it is a joke and they dont mean it, then no harm done. Dont get so butt hurt. There are jokes against my race that I find funny, as long as the person saying it doesnt mean it.

You don't choose the people you work with. You just have to get on with it. These people cannot mean anything to you at all, therefore, why worry about it? I'm American, but if I hear my British co-workers talking smack about the States (not that it happens often, but if it does), I would do just as you did -- not get involved, just walk away. Why? Because what they think doesn't matter to me, because THEY don't matter at all.

Don't let it get to you, just like black jokes around blacks or anything else. It just won't do you an ounce of good to fret, it's all meaningless drivel anyhow.

In my case a lot of my co-workers I know think I may be bi. I work at a place though we're people respect me and actually I feel loved. It is a family owned business and everybody treats each other as family. Many times they test me. I just play along. I know that one day, when I do come out to them they will not be surprised...I don't feel their respect and love for me will change. But I guess not everybody is as lucky in that regard as me. I'd it bothers you, not participating is your best stand. Eventually, of and when you come out to them, they will feel foolish for they'll see that being gay doesn't change the person that you are and whom they have come to know
