Late, Lonely Nights

I hate sleeping alone. I've been alone now for 26 years. For the first 17 it was by choice, and I don't think it bothered me then to spend so much time alone. I was busy raising my children. But now......oh how I hate it! I've been wanting to reverse my single condition for so long now, but no takers so far. I end up staying up so late at night, because I just hate going to bed alone. My bed is empty and lonely and I just can't sleep till my body is extreemly exhausted. I hate going to bed alone, and I hate waking up alone.

Thanks Oldnwise for your comment. That is what I miss too, hearing someone breathing or even snoring beside me.

I've been living aalone since the early 90s...and celebate as well...but I do miss being able to just cuddle up with someone and listen to them breathing when they fall asleep in my arms.....I have a body

I have lots of

I can count on one hand how many times I've slept curled up with a man in my bed (or in his) over the last 26 years. Many nights I sleep on the couch watching a movie till I drift off, just to avoid going to bed alone. It's awful for the person who really doesn't want to be alone.
