Thank you for your comment. I am feeling much better these days. It was a mistake. Won't make it again.

IN a private survey an old lady friend and I did, we found that men and women have a hard time

being truthful about certain things. For women it is their weight.

Fort men it is their marital status.

It is sad to see so many really lovely women getting hurt by the claim that he is going to leave his wife for you. Not many women are open about being so wrongly treated. Thank you for having the courage to tell us about it T.

Yes, it is hard to get the heart to change.

Looking back, his position was indefensible. What could he say to me? More empty promises? I am an intelligent woman. He knew it would not work. The relationship was doomed from the start. I have learned my lesson. But the heart wants what the heart wants.

I think he clammed for defensive reasons because he could not come out and tell you he was really leaving his wife. That is a good choice to find someone that communicates I think you will have a much better relationship when you do find someone like that.Thank you for sharing your story.
