I Beg To Differ With You About Chivalry Being Dead,

The age group of twenty to thirty five year old men can't spell it let alone tell you what it means, I work somewhere that men will get out of the car to get the car being searched to get on post a military base. And If the guy is in the passenger seat he will go stand on the curb and let the lady driving the car get out open every compartment on the vehicle and raise the hood, while the stands and watches. My farther would beat me if I ever did that, and they don't have a clue what it is to hold a door for a women. I blame this on single parent homes and kids getting raised by TV sets, instead of mom and dads.

As a modern woman, I may tell you that it is unnecessary these days and certainly not expected of most women. But....when a man displays that chivalrous behaviour, we sit up, take notice, smile and are supremely grateful.

I imagine so and I get it but secretly, you will find it hard to find a woman who doesn't at least appreciate the gesture.
