Yeah, there's no way were alone.. Our galaxy is made of 200 to 400 billions stars, 6 to 8 billion of which are exactly like our star with its own solar system. there are an equal amount (200 to 400 billion) galaxies in the observable universe. If you crunch those numbers and find the amount of stars.. thats a number I'm not even gonna attempt to calculate and it says the probability of life, AND intelligent life, are practically 100%. The only thing that gets me about this is.. whats the point of my existence if I'm just a tiny quark in the atom in the whole grand scheme of things? kinda makes me feel completely insignificant and makes me question religion which I dont particularly like the idea of tbh.
