Congress! the current Congress in the U.S. is quite possibly the most corrupt group of politicians ever assembled and that is on BOTH sides of the aisle. They are a group of 500+ childish arrogant book educated morons who care NOTHING about fixing the country they are only interested in getting themselves re-elected. As for the current president i believe he wants to do what he says. i think in that respect he is honest. i just disagree with his idea of the outcome of these policies. I hope he is right and i am wrong but i have my doubts.

i personally don't think this country can be fixed at all. our economic problems were primarily caused by a do-nothing congress who was and is too busy calling each other names to fix anything. on top of that the american people no longer have the necessary drive, determination and willingness to sacrifice to fix everything that is wrong with America right now. if the current generation of Americans had been around during world war 2 we would have been slaughtered. imagine telling todays Americans that we will have to ration food.....there would be so much whining and crying that we would have had to surrender to the germans and the japanese.

yes there are alot of pro and cons but i guess we will have to deal with it all!

Ihaveanameitsrick, The reason that we are in this pitiful shape is because the power to regulate and inforce the rules on business was cut during the last Adminestration, and it is going to take years, tears, and trillions to repair this mistake and the only people who can pay the bill is us and our children and grandchildren. Our friend Bush will go down in history as one of the worst Presidents in our country's history. We can't expect the new Adminestration to fix this in the next month. I will be surprised if it can be reversed in the next six years. The Republicans are already calling it Obama's resession. Get real. He has been in office less than sixty days. That's my two cents worth.

i trust myself

Congress invited Ted Danson to testify on global warming because he was in a movie that had something to do with the subject.....they invited him as an "expert" witness LOL

Thank you Rick. Very well stated on both Congress and this Administration.<br />

the same thing happened when Ted Danson and Whoopi Goldberg spoke to Congress 20 years ago Danson told Congress that in 10 years the oceans would be dead if we didn't do something major....nothing has been done and i still see fish on the meat counters in stores LOL
