Human Nature

I do actually understand it, we want to be better than everyone and have everything, survival of the fitest is still programmed in.
If we are jealous we put people down and it makes us more superiour.
Uhhh think again people who have less or more than you is your perception only, we are equal. People who have more $ than you worked for it, don't be jealous and nasty, it's ignorant.

It's quite complicated because I'm sure everyone has their own reasons for destruction.

Let us not forget: What you do to others, you do to yourself. Actions have consequences.

I agree with you. It's all about ourselves, feeling good at others expense. Especially at others expense. If someone has more than you (money, friends, better quality of life) then 8 times out of 10 they probably earned it and deserve it. Plus it's a whole of a lot easier and funner to be nasty to someone than to be nice. Some people just don't want to put in the effort or don't see why they have to be nice to someone, especially if they don't/hardly know the person. And then there are (sadists) people who take enjoyment out of putting people down. But it is all about human nature and unless we evolve past this 'survival of the fitest' fault then we're always going to have this problem.
