    I hope i haven't used it, although it regularly appears in comments, when you write something depressing!



    You may be being too harsh. When I see it used, I interpret it as meaning "I am so sorry, but I cannot think of anything very useful to say - but I want to be supportive and not just pass by." That said, it's pretty lame!!

    i know what you mean. you dislike insincere people trying to come off as sincere. just saying something to someone does not cut it. if no sincerity and compassion is there and felt, their word fall as lame and meaningless, to say the very least.
