The Cell Phone Blunder....

It really embarrasses me (and irritates me a little) to hear people yak on their cell phones. I dont mean the quick 'hello, I have this quick question for you' kind of conversation. I am talking about the 'make a tea and get cozy for a good long chat' in the middle of the grocery store kind! Full of all the juicy tidbits that would normally acompany this coze. Just to set the record straight, I use my cell phone and often. I have three children left at home and they call me a lot. I have also been on the other end of this diatribe more than once. A man complained to my child about hating people who use their cell phones in lines at the store. He most likely did not realize that he was speaking to my child as he had the grace to blush when she came to me to complain about it. But, my point still stands. The public really isnt the place for an intimate conversation or a juicy gossip session. Now where are my headphones?
