I'd have a much better time of writing... I mean it would be my job and I would be free to write and write and write.

    Hmm...to be honest, I think it's better if I had not gone pro. I mean, I've had two writing jobs in the past and my present one's as a marketing copywriter/editor/proofreader. Sure, you get to hone your craft professionally, but if you look at it as a means to earn money, then that takes the fun out of it. Also, how will you be able to find the strength to write recreationally at the end of the day if you've already been writing for the most part of it?
